Many species are endangered and we need to do something to help them. So here are a few ways we can help them out. All you have to do is follow the acronym H.I.P.P.O.
H - Habitat Conservation
I - Introduced Species (Invasive Species)
P - Pollution
P - Population Growth (of Humans)
O - Overconsumption
The first part of H.I.P.P.O., habitat conservation, has to do with protecting the endangered species habitat. For example, we need to stop cutting down the rainforest. Introduced species, or species that have been introduced to the endangered species' habitat, should be monitored, so they do not cause harm to the endangered species by preying on them or using the same food source. By becoming more green, we will be able to lessen pollution, therefore lessening it as a threat to the endangered species. We need to be able to better accommodate our population so it does not encroach on an endangered species habitat. For the last part of H.I.P.P.O., overconsumption, humans should be cautious of what they consume and recycle when possible.
